Here is a recap of the Wine, Cheese, and Bob event.! Many Pound Ridge friends and neighbors came out to learn about how to save energy and money in their homes on Thursday evening, January 26th.
Bob Fischman, Bedford 2030’s Energy Coach and Sustainable Westchester, and Town of Pound Ridge Energy Action Committee and Climate Smart Task Force shared information about clean energy systems and they current 2023 energy rebates being offered, signing up for a free home energy audit, and energy saving giveaways.
An a special thank you to our other community partners, Sweet Earth Co., The Kitchen Table, and the Pound Ridge Library who took care of adorning the newly renovated Shaffner Room with sustainable floral decor while sharing information about sustainable floristry and eco-gardening along with serving specially curated organic cheese and wine for all to enjoy. And everything was compostable!
